Denuvo does not last forever but my memory of not being able to play a game b/c of DRM BS disrespect will last much longer. Death Stranding is officially coming to PC in June, and now another detail about the PC release has been confirmed.The game's Steam page shows that Death Stranding for PC will use the Denuvo.

Denuvo itself acknowledges that all games can and will be cracked at some point. As shown on the games' Steam page, the idea behind a publisher opting to use DRM is to prevent tampering with its title. You can be sure I'll be advocating to everyone I know not to buy this game. Death Stranding will use Denuvo's digital-rights-management (DRM) on PC. I'll never support a publisher who disrespects their customers. I purchased them cheaply for my convenience only due to easy of a steam reinstall and only after cracks for the games were released so I knew I could continue to OWN them post EOL. Instead I bought them on deep discount paid less than $10 for the whole series each.

Bioshock & Deus Ex Mankind Divided are two titles I would have bought at full retail but did not B/C DRM. I have had tons of trouble w/ DRM in the past and I just don't mess with it. Look at my wishlist this is a top game for me, almost bought a PS4 to play it, glad I didn't.īetween the anti-customer console exclusive, and the anti-customer lack of trust/ownership of Denuvo you can be sure I'll not buy this/ wait till it's on sale for $4. This is a DAY ONE purchase for me but I hate DRM.
